Well the Spider-Man Archives set is finally out and I must say it's looking good. It's funny though, at the time I thought "wow this is way better then the X-men cards, my best yet!" but now I look at what I can do and what I did and think "I really wish I could do some rework on some of these cards". That's just the nature of the beast. Always striving to do better. The set I am currently working on will be my best ever I am also supposed to be working on a couple monsterwax card sets (can't wait!). The dream gig of doing mechs and a cartoon I liked as a kid, Voltron, doesn't seem to be bearing any fruit for me though

What's the next year have? A sketchbook (finally right?) and a comic, possibly two. I'll be trying to hit more conventions as an artist but am looking to hit a couple to get reviews and such. I was turned down for a table at C2E2 because I filed a wee bit too late. Other artists have mentioned the table price so I am kind of glad I did get the reject slip. Considering the New York Comicon.

Now for something that bugs me to no end. Etiquette. I'm not a big fan of crits anymore as I tend to notice more what I do wrong then others. What I don't notice is what I do right and I learned that after getting positive remarks and mentions about my work and what was liked. This works for me and I'm not saying it's the set in stone way everyone should follow. I do ask for crits when I hit problems I can't figure out. Key word ASK. If you come here to point out some fault on my stuff you perceive to be wrong and that's ALL you do, don't post here. I didn't ask for anyone to point out negatives here. If it bugs you, don't look. I don't do it to others, those with an ounce of respect for other artists don't do it. If your asked, fine. I'm asked for crits now and then and I give them otherwise I keep my mouth shut unless I like something a lot. No ego speaking here, I'm not the cat's meow but what I am is annoyed.

Ok, with that out of the way. I have to say thanks again for all the positive comments and the favorites I've gotten. I appreciate them all and barely forget a one. I get so busy I can't reply to everyone as much as I used to but I do read every comment so don't think I don't.
