This is the first of 3 contests I'll run over the next few weeks. One here, one on twitter and one on a forum I frequent. Why do the contest when I am hurting for money and could be selling the prizes? Cause it's fun and as far as artwork and jobs involving art this has been a spectacular year for me.

I've gotten to work on two major comic book card sets (so far), got be involved in a new company that makes trading cards and I got to finally paint a mural (of sorts) on a wall for a complete stranger and got paid nicely for it (thank you craigslist). It doesn't even stop there. Tomorrow I'll be doing a 24 hour comic, I'll be attending Mid Ohio Con and have my first ever table there and I'll be pursuing comic book work.

What makes this great for me, personally, is knowing that you guys have checked out this page over 10,000 times in a little over a year. I see others who tout their experience and raise their noses in the air, to people who aren't known names, have less then half that. It just makes me extremely happy.

About the contest. Well soon I'll be posting a new sketch card. This card will be the prize. Here's what you need to do.
